
Lovers of nordic skiing will find, during their vacation at Hotel Relais Orsingher or Garni Hotel Astoria, wide and diversified range to practice their sport with more
than 30 km of runs mostly within the Natural Park Paneveggio - Pale San Martino.
An occasion to admire the champions of the sport in Ski sprint too, an exhilarating
competition - show, which takes place on 26th December night in the streets of
center Fiera di Primiero.



Equipped with changing rooms, showers and waxing local the Cross-country Center Passo Cereda is ideal for advanced skiers. The slopes, easily reached with the free bus services, are organized by rings of different difficulty and length (2, 3, 4 or 5 km). Slopes, always well beaten and snowed, are certified to national and international competitions.
At the edge of the village of San Martino di Castrozza in the Dolomites, the center has three rings that wind throught biotope "Prà delle Nasse", valuable area with groves of alder and countless icy streams. The center is equipped with dressing rooms, storage and rental equipment. Three possible variants: an easy route for beginners, a medium for everyone on large flat meadows and a more challenging path that it forwards in the dense forest of fir trees of "Colfosco". Unforgettable scene for this easy route of about 5 km at Calaita Lake. The track runs on lawns with flat or low slope and partly on the frozen lake. Free access.
Path with average length, very scenic at 1.900/2.100 meters of altitude. The route of 5 km begins near "Malga Rolle" and winds within the Parco Naturale Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino. The modest height difference (about 170 mt.) makes it convenient for non-experts too. Access is free with the possibility of renting equipment for cross-country skiing.
