
Spacious, well-beaten and with snow cover guaranteed on 95% of the 60 km of the slopes of San Martino di Castrozza and Passo Rolle. The ski slopes allow you to practice the sport at different difficulty levels, from beginner to expert; they are evenly divided between easy and medium, with a pair of runs for expert skiers only.



It ranges from "Alpe Tognola" to "Punta Ces" with 45 km of runs between 1404 mt. and 2.357 mt. Access is via the Tognola cableway, south of San Martino di Castrozza or the Ces chairlift on the western side of the village. Developed on slopes with different exposures (to ensure optimal conditions for snow both in the morning and in the afternoon) the different runs are an interesting circuit and very pleasurable, from the hard Direttissima, Tognola One and Kristiania to red runs (among others the Colbricon, Cima Tognola, the Tognola Three), from the tourist slopes (Scandola, Conca, Valboneta etc.) to field school for beginners.
On the eastern side of San Martino di Castrozza, the Colverde cableway reaches the foot of the “Cima Rosetta". There are two long but not difficult runs from Colverde down to the village, with snow-making and lighting for night skiing.
The ideal place to learn to ski. Easy to reach, the two big runs, equipped with a double skilift are ideal for first ski lessons for children or adults.
15 km of runs between 1900 mt. and 2.200 mt served by 5 chair lifts and a ski lift. Runs of different difficulty and length with an excellent snowfall from the end of November to the end of April. Among the many runs are the black "Paradiso Uno" and the red "Fiamme Gialle", exhilarating even for the most demanding skiers.
More adventurous skiers have vast territories to explore, striking routes, in the woods at lower levels or the wide open spaces above 2000 meters. Among the best known areas for off-piste skiing are the gentle wooded slopes of Alpe Tognola and the steep gradients in Val Cigolera but, above all, the dramatic descent for expert skier from Cima Rosetta: the cable car reaches the height of 2700 meters, from where you launch yourself headlong down the steep slope towards San Martino di Castrozza, 1300 meters below. In off-piste skiing the precautions are never too many: Snow conditions, the stability of the slopes and the degree of danger of avalanches should be carefully evaluated.
There are two ski schools for those who want to learn to ski or to refine the technique. Over a hundred ski instructors, federal coaches, specialized instructors for children and people with disabilities.
